Brightly from Night Owl Quilting


Sydney made this lovely quilt.  The fabric collection is called Michaelmas from Lewis and Irene and was produced a number of years back.  The pattern is called Brightly from Cluck Cluck Sew.


The fabric has a subtle winter them and a hint of metallic in a few of the prints.  Sydney selected the Zephyr pantogrpah and Maginifico #2164 thread in a color called Shiver that has a bit of shine as well.
The pretty blue and white snowflake backing really ties the whole quilt together nicely.

Two More Beauties for Sherry from Night Owl Quilting


The first of Sherry's two quilts that I'm sharing today is a pattern called Arboretum by Saginaw Street Quilts.  Sherry started this quilt in a workshop a number of years ago, and decided to change up the size and layout to suit her needs.


Sherry chose the Zephyr pantograph and I love the feel of the wind blowing across the leaves.

 

Sherry is always drawn to fabric that includes text, and I love how the border and the backing tied together.



The second quilt started out to be one thing but ended up being another.  Three Churn Dash ...

Our Hearts Will Go On from Night Owl Quilting



Reneta made this beautiful rendition of the "Our Hearts will Go On" pattern from the Fabric Addict.  The pattern is a fun take on a traditional Storm at Sea block/ Clever color placement allows the two hearts to appear.


I


Reneta selected the "Zephyr" pantograph and I think it compliments the top well.  I love using Superior's Magnifico thread on batiks, and a light grey/turquoise was just right.
